Noor Ali Rashid's remarkable photography collection, spanning over 50 years, earned him the title of "Royal Photographer." Before the formation of the UAE, he served as the official photographer for the rulers of the Trucial States, which later united to form the country. Rashid captured state ceremonies, formal and informal portraits of rulers and their families, and historic moments during visits by foreign dignitaries to the UAE, as well as the rulers' travels abroad.
